In order to meet the constantly growing demand for automated solutions in the field of surface coating plants, the Rippert Group established ‘Rippert Automation Systems GmbH’ on 1 January 2011. The objective of the new company is to develop modern solutions for handling and robotics. Over and above that, solutions in the field of bonding and painting technology are to be offered. The newly-founded company is based in Herzebrock Clarholz – No. 3 Works, Herzebrock industrial estate. Dr. Christof Jung has been appointed as managing director of the company. Dr. Jung is a mechanical engineer and has worked in the field of handling and robotics for more than 20 years. From 1999 onwards he was responsible for production engineering development and manufacturing at the Hella Group. From the beginning of 2006 until moving to Rippert he was mainly responsible as managing director for the development of axelius automation GmbH, which specialises as a system integrator in bonding, screwing and testing technology.
