A painter carries out the painting process with a hand gun and paints the component manually. The ETT system records and saves the movements, speeds (paths) and the switching on/off of the gun with at least 2 cameras. The recorded movement points are displayed graphically in the software and can be edited according to your requirements by adjusting the speed, tool angle and position of each recorded point or the entire trajectory. A robot programme is then generated from this and the result exported as robot source code.
The source code is copied to the painting robot and the programme is automatically executed 1:1. The robot runs the lanes with repeat accuracy. You do not need extensive programming knowledge or expertise in robot technology. With the ETT solution, the source code can be generated at a different location than the painting robot.
Fast programming.
The Easy to Teach system significantly reduces the time required to programme the robot to just a few minutes. Programming is much faster than when teaching directly on the robot.
Transfer of expertise.
The experienced painter teaches the robot how to paint. Capture and transfer years of experience and expertise from skilled workers to industrial robots.
No robot expert required.
The system is easy to operate. A brief introduction to the system is all that is needed to work efficiently with it; no specialised knowledge of robotics or programming is required.
High accuracy.
The system offers a precision of up to 1 mm, ensuring accurate and reliable performance in various applications.
Path processing possible.
The paths can be viewed and reworked in the software by adjusting the speed, tool angle and position of each captured point or the entire trajectory.
Adaptation to real application.
The system is adapted to the spray gun that the operator knows, which increases efficiency and user-friendliness.
Easy to set up.
The system is designed for simple and straightforward set-up, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
Flexible installation location.
With the ETT solution, the robot programme can be generated at a different location to where the robot is standing, which offers a high degree of flexibility. The installation can also be carried out in the robot cabin or in a manual cabin.
robot manufacturer.
The system is currently available for KUKA, ABB and Fanuc.
